As a film buff I probably should have seen more Jean-Luc Godard films. I've seen a few of his short documentaries as well as some of his film history projects, but they were all a bit too experimental and avantgarde for my tastes. However, when last years "Film Socialisme" came out, I figured I ought to give a feature-length Jean-Luc Godard film a shot and so I did, but I can't say that I found myself enjoying it much. Actually, I didn't enjoy it at all and to be totally honest, I must add that I didn't understand much of it either. I don't have a fucking clue what's it about. Is it a film or is it a documentary? You tell me, as I didn't get any of it and I am not willing to give it another try. (2 out of 10)
