Before "Man on a Ledge", Danish director, Asger Leth, has made a name for himself in directing documentaries, which is exactly what his father, the famous Danish director and good friend of Lars Von Trier, Jørgen Leth, has done before him. Now moving out of his fathers footsteps, Asger Leth's first film turned out to be a Hollywood blockbuster, gaining lots and lots of money, but receiving mostly shitty reviews. Personally, I thought it was alright. I mean, the story may be a little far fetched, but I liked the intensity and excitement of the film and it didn't hurt that it featured a killer cast with names like Ed Harris, Elizabeth Banks, Jamie Bell, Sam Worthington and Edward Burns playing big roles. In short, you can say that this is fun while it lasts, but probably won't be remembered for a very long time. (6 out of 10)
