In The Land of Blood and Honey

While not as bad as a few of the first reviews I read indicated, I would have hoped that Angelina Jolie's directional debut would stand out a bit more inspirational than it did. Don't get me wrong, though, this story, centered around the Bosnian war in the 90's, is by itself inspiring enough and it's something than Angelina Jolie feels very strongly about, but I just feel that it should have come across a a bit more interesting. Sure, there were times when I was both disturbed and chocked, which probably also was Jolie's intention, but sadly I was also quite bored at other times as well. (5 out of 10)
