"Angels Crest" is sad, sad film that will break your heart. It's about a young single father who one day drives into the woods with his three year old son. He stops the car and leaves his son asleep in the car for about 10 minutes, but when he returns his son is not there. He's all alone in the snow somewhere in the woods. From there on, the film focuses on how a small town community deals with a tragedy like this one. "Angels Crest" is a slow-going film. No doubt about that, but films like this one often are. I know this film has gotten pretty bad reviews, but I feel really drawn to the story and I can feel the pain of the parts included. The actors do a great job and that helps making the story even more credible. This film makes sense to me, because I live in a small town community like this one and I have a son who'll be three years old within months. I can't possibly imagine how it would be, if I was in this young fathers shoes. What would I do? I would probably jump of the bridge. (7 out of 10)
